The rainy season has officially started here in the Philippines on the very first day of June.

My workmate and I was running our errand that day and right after we finished we went to Sandok Comfort Food at my suggestion.

Sandok Comfort Food is a Filipino restaurant specializing in ilonggo soups - piping hot ilonggo soups! And it's perfect for the rainy day!

If you haven't tried it yet, this is the moment to visit Sandok Comfort Food or simply Sandok.

They are located in C-20 Narra Ave. Capitol Shopping Center.

📍If you are coming from North Terminal, ride a jeepney (Shopping Northbound) and tell the driver to drop you off to Robinsons Bank-Shopping branch.

📍If you are coming from South Terminal, ride a jeepney (Shopping Lasalle) and tell the driver to drop you off to Andoks-Shopping branch.

📍If you are coming from downtown area, ride a jeepney (Shopping San Agustin) and tell the driver to drop you off to Andoks-Shopping branch.

Jeepney fare is P10.00. Sandok Comfort Food is within walking distance from Robinsons Bank and Andoks.

They are open from Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 9 pm.

We ordered the much love local favorite, KBL (Kadyos/Pigeon Peas, Baboy/Pork, Langka/Jackfruit).

As you can see, it was served piping hot! The Korean bowl/Ddukbaegi will keep it warm for at least 30 minutes and no "sebo" since they remained hot until the end of the meal.

We also ordered one of my personal favorite, Pork Sisig with Egg. We requested to scramble the egg because my workmate doesn't like sunny side up.

All in all, he likes the food! ❤️

Kudos, Sandok Team!
